What is a preorder?

A preorder is a type of deferred purchase where the payment is completed at the time of the checkout and the order is fulfilled once the product is back in stock. At the time of the purchase the customer is given an estimated delivery date that can vary slightly depending on external factors, such as logistics, address location, etc

My order never got to me, what do I do?

Hopefully this doesn’t happen, but if it does, although our shipping carriers work independently to deliver your package, we’ll figure this out together!

If you are eligible for free shipping and the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to an error on your part or that of the courier, you will be responsible for the second delivery fee. This fee typically costs around $40, depending on your location. Please note that eligibility for free shipping does not guarantee successful delivery, and it is important to ensure that all delivery information is accurate to avoid any additional charges.

What is Capsule voltage?

Capsule version sold in the USA is 100-120 VAC voltage.

Capsule version sold in the UK and EU is 220-240 VAC voltage.

What type and how much detergent should I use?
Capsule requires 5-10 grams or 0.18-0.35 ounces of detergent (powder/liquid/gel) for normal wash and eco wash. Small tablets equivalent to that quantity are available on the market. 

We don't recommend using pods at this point as we don't see small enough pods available in the market. They're currently made for the bigger models that use more water. This would be too much detergent/chemicals for just 2-3 litres or 0.44-0.79 gallons of water used in Capsule. Additionally the pods need more time for the wrapping to dissolve and release the chemicals. The fastest cycles in Capsule might not give enough time for this.

**Please remember to never use detergent for manual washing**

Why is my Capsule wet?

The water in your Capsule is a residue from the testing process in our factory. We are currently working to improve our drying process to avoid such situations in the future. However, we would like to assure you that this doesn’t affect the functionality of your Capsule, and that the machine is safe to use.

What is the fruit/veg wash programme?

The fruit/veg wash programme has been created to rid fruit and veg of pesticides and contaminants.

There are two washes - 8 mins and a 12 mins. The 12min wash uses the UV light as well to sanitise further.

The beginning of the programme is designed to flush the sump (bottom of the machine) twice to rid itself of any leftover detergent.

Can I fit a full sized pan in Capsule?

Yes, you can!

Capsule is the first countertop dishwasher that can fit a full sized pan - 31x48.cm including the handle.

How do I open the fresh/waste water tank to clean/empty it?

To take the grid lid off the fresh/waste water tank, turn it anti clockwise and it should easily detach from the water tank body.

To attach it back on, place it back on the body and turn clockwise.

Please note that you should always take the grid lid off the fresh/waste water tank if you want to empty it or clean it. Please make sure to always carry the water tank by the body with both hands and not from the top.

What is RAD (Rinse Aid Dispenser)

RAD - Rinse Aid Dispenser; Rinse aid is either a synthetic or organic liquid that reduces the surface tension of water and makes the water droplets smaller. This improves cleaning performance, drying performance and reduces white spots due to minerals in households with hard water.


We have two versions of Capsule dishwasher: one with RAD (Rinse Aid Dispenser) built-in and one without it. We recommend adding rinse aid for mild cases of hard water.

Please note that the rinse aid dispenser is designed to only work with the longer wash cycles, 45 mins and above.

For shorter wash cycles there isn't enough time and water for RAD to perform properly.

What is the water temperature of each wash cycle?

Water temperature per wash cycle:

15mins wash cycle - 70°C
30mins wash cycle - 50°C
45mins wash cycle - 70°C
90mins wash cycle - 72°C
152mins wash cycle - 75°C
Eco wash cycle - 67°C

Between 45-55ºC is the best temperature for washing and removing grease and oil.
Between 65-75ºC is the best temperature to kill germs and bacteria.

The box containing Capsule arrived damaged

If the box containing your Capsule arrived damaged or broken, it means that the shipping company handled the parcel badly and we need to file a complaint as soon as possible. 

Please email us at hello@lochelectronics.com immediately including pictures or a video of the box from different angles including the damages in detail. Subject of email: 'Damaged box'.

Check Capsule to see if it got damaged in any way and if that's the case, include pictures/videos of that as well. If you can, test the machine to see if it works properly and let us know.


Please include as much information as possible.

Why is my Capsule showing -- on the display?

The two dashes are the standby light signal, Capsule displays it while waiting for instructions.

We recommend turning Capsule off every time the dishwasher is not in use, for environmental and usage reasons.

My Capsule is displaying an EA error code

To troubleshoot the EA error, the first step is to check the connection between the control panel and control board. 

Here are a few steps to follow:

  1. Restart the capsule and see if the EA error has resolved.
  2. If the error persists, inspect the gap at the front of the capsule. Using a pointy object like a screwdriver, gently touch the wire and attempt to reposition it. Caution is advised, as excessive pressure may result in the wire becoming disconnected.

My Capsule is displaying an E4 error code

If you encounter an E4 error, the issue may be caused by leaking or water spillage on the countertop that has gone into the machine. To resolve this issue, tip the capsule on its side over a bucket or a sink to allow water to escape through the vents at the bottom of the machine. 

If still problem still persists then let’s test if there’s any leakage within the unit:

  1. Unplug the dishwasher.

  2. Dry the countertop and the bottom shell thoroughly.

  3. Add 1.5 to 2 litres of water over the silver plate inside the dishwasher.

  4. Leave is for 30 minutes and come back.

  5. Do you see any water on the countertop or the bottom shell?

  6. If you do see water, is it a small amount of water or a lot of water?

How can I get rid of coffee and tea stains?

For coffee or tea stains, we recommend using the longer wash cycles (90mins and 152mins) as items with these types of stains need a longer and more thorough wash. These cycles also use higher temperature (between 72 and 75 degrees) that is needed to make sure the stained items gets cleaned properly.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns for all full price items that reach us within 14 days of the original delivery date and all sale or discounted items that reach us within 7 days of the original delivery date.

Please do make sure that all products are unused and returned in their original condition and packaging including all accessories and documentation.
